Police Name Alexandria Woman Killed in Hit and Run

The Alexandria Police Department has identified the victim of Thursday’s fatal pedestrian crash as Deborah Ann Bogart, 60, of Alexandria.

Bogart was hit by a construction truck Thursday morning around 9:20 a.m. at Braddock Road and Commonwealth Avenue.

Police waited to release her name until family members were notified.

The vehicle and driver involved in this incident have been identified. Police said Thursday no charges had been filed and no arrest was made. No new information about the driver has been released.
