Police Reports: Assaults, Vehicle Thefts in the Del Ray Area

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

Oct. 4

10:46 p.m. — A robbery was reported at the corner of Braddock Road and Mount Vernon Avenue.

2:44 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 400 block of E. Glebe Road.

1:18 a.m. — An arrest was made for assault in the 3400 block of Landover Street.

Oct. 3

8:44 p.m. — An assault was reported in the 3900 block of Executive Avenue.

11:25 a.m. — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 3600 block of Valley Drive.

Oct. 2

10:52 p.m. — An arrest was made for assault in the 3500 block of Wilson Avenue.

10:16 p.m. — An arrest was made for trespassing in the 3900 block of Bruce Street.

8:08 p.m. — An assault was reported in the 3900 block of Old Dominion Boulevard.

11:07 a.m. —A wallet and cellphone were reported stolen after they were inadvertently left unattended in a restroom in the 2300 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

Oct. 1

11:29 a.m. — A moped was reported stolen from behind a building in the 2600 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

9:19 a.m. — An antenna was torn off a vehicle parked on E. Chapman Street.

Sept. 30

6:04 p.m. — A generator was reported stolen from a shed behind a home on W. Masonic View Avenue.

Sept. 28

7:53 p.m. — An arrest was made for assault in the 3500 block of Commonwealth Avenue.

3:17 p.m. — A bicycle was reported stolen from an open garage in the 200 block of E. Oak Street.

Sept. 27

3 p.m. — An employee theft was reported at a business in the 3500 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

11:38 a.m. — A theft was reported in the 1000 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

8:19 a.m. — A vehicle was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 3200 block of Commonwealth Avenue.
