Police Reports: Property Crimes, Thefts from Vehicles in the Del Ray Area
The Alexandria Police Department reported the following crimes in the Del Ray-Rosemont-Arlandria area of Alexandria.

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.
Oct. 9
9:02 p.m. — A subject was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 2100 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

3:15 p.m. — An employee theft incident was reported in the 3400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.
1:20 a.m. — An arrest was made for check fraud in the 3800 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

Oct. 8
8:47 p.m. — Marino’s Pizza and Subs on Jefferson Davis Highway was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night and the suspect may have fired a single shot while exiting the scene. For more information, see: Alexandria Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Marino's.
12:53 p.m. — A victim reported a cracked windshield on her vehicle that occurred outside her residence in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue.
12:08 p.m. — A theft from a vehicle was reported in the parking lot of a store in the 3800 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. The driver’s side window of the vehicle was smashed.
12:03 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 200 block of Guthrie Avenue.
Oct. 7
7:31 p.m. — An iPhone 4 left unattended on a table at a restaurant in the 2400 block of Mount Vernon Avenue was reported stolen.
Oct. 5
1:22 p.m. — A woman reported youth selling cookies for charity stole her purse from her residence in the 300 block of Hume Avenue, took cash out of her wallet and left the purse on the ground nearby.
10:43 a.m. — A suspect was arrested for public drunkenness at the corner of Hume and Mount Vernon avenues.
2:26 a.m. — A suspect was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine in the 3900 block of Bruce Street.
1:47 a.m. — A traffic stop in the 3700 block of Mount Vernon Avenue resulted in an arrest for driving under the influence.
Oct. 4
10:46 p.m. — A victim reported unknown suspects attempted to steal her purse off her shoulder while she was walking near the corner of Braddock Road and Mount Vernon Avenue.
10:27 p.m. — A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 3500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. A window of the vehicle was smashed.
2:44 p.m. — A victim in the 400 block of E. Glebe Road believes three property tax decals were stolen from his mailbox.
1:18 a.m. — An assault occurred between several people who were known to each other in the 3400 block of Landover Street.
