Police Reports: Thefts, Breaking-and-Entering Incidents in the Del Ray Area
The Alexandria Police Department reported the following crimes in the Del Ray-Rosemont-Arlandria area of Alexandria.

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.
Oct. 27
6:07 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 1000 block of W. Glebe Road.

Oct. 26
5:47 p.m. — A sexual offense was reported in the 3000 block of Mount Vernon Avenue. Police have not made a narrative of this case available.

12:56 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 2000 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.
Oct. 25
7:02 p.m. — A theft from a vehicle was reported on E. Masonic View Avenue.
6:39 p.m. — A robbery was reported in the 100 block of W. Glebe Road.
2:59 p.m. — A theft from a vehicle was reported stolen on E. Masonic View Avenue.
1:09 a.m. — An arrest was made for a fraud offense in the 3900 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

9:03 p.m. — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the
1:06 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 3900 block of Bruce Street.
Oct. 23
11:41 a.m. — An unsecured bicycle was reported stolen outside the rear of a business in the 2200 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.
Oct. 22
5:51 p.m. — A victim’s scooter was reported stolen from the 3000 block of Hickory Street.
3:03 a.m. — An arrest was made for trespassing in the 100 block of E. Glebe Road.
Oct. 21
11:31 p.m. — A shoplifting offense was reported in the 3400 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.
Oct. 20
8:19 p.m. — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 3100 block of Mosby Street. The victim’s residence was entered through a broken glass basement window and watches and jewelry were reported stolen.
