Restaurants Taking Thanksgiving 2020 Orders In Del Ray

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Whether you’re skipping a big Thanksgiving celebration due to the coronavirus pandemic or simply prefer to enjoy a tasty meal while skipping the hours of cooking and massive pile of dishes, you will have options come Nov. 26.

In fact, several restaurants in Del Ray will do all the Thanksgiving Day work for you.
In case you need a recommendation of where to order food for Thanksgiving, Patch compiled a roundup of local restaurants taking orders.

An important note: As the number of daily coronavirus cases continues to surge, Virginia and other states are imposing new restrictions on businesses. Patch encourages you to call any restaurant on this list in advance to double-check hours.

• Stomping Ground: The restaurant is offering sides to accompany your turkey for Thanksgiving. Each side feeds four to six people. Order online by Nov. 20 and pick up on Nov. 25 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Del Ray Cafe: A to-go menu for two will be offered. Choose two of any appetizer, entrée and dessert. Orders are due by 5 p.m. on Nov. 22.
• Junction Bakery & Bistro: Thanksgiving pie and dinner roll orders will be accepted in person and by phone until Nov. 19. The restaurant will be open until 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
• Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap: Lena's will have a Thanksgiving meal package to-go and Thanksgiving specials at Lena's Oasis. For every Thanksgiving Meal Package ordered and every Thanksgiving Day reservation made, Lena's will donate $9 to ALIVE! which helps neighbors in need with food assistance.
• Hops N Shine: Order sides or a complete Thanksgiving dinner minus the turkey by Nov. 24 for pickup on Nov. 25 or 26. Order online at hopsnshine.com/togo by selecting Nov. 25 or 26 and selecting the Thanksgiving menu.
• Cheesetique: Cheesetique's retail shop is offering Thanksgiving gift baskets.
