Taste Of Del Ray, Other Events Canceled Due To Coronavirus
A decision on October's Art on the Avenue has not been made yet.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The continuing new coronavirus pandemic has cancelled a few of Del Ray's major summer events. Taste of Del Ray and Well Ray in June as well as the Del Ray Music Festival will not happen in 2020.
A decision on October's Art on the Avenue, one of Del Ray's largest events, has not been made. Art on the Avenue typically draws 75,000 people.
"Although we don't know what the next few months will bring, I wanted to let you know that I look forward to keeping this important event on the calendar unless we are advised to proceed differently by the experts and state officials," wrote Art on the Avenue chair wrote Pat Miller. "Should it look like there will still be a ban on large gatherings in October, we will notify you as soon as possible."
