T.C. Williams Football Kicks Off Friday, Sept. 4
First game is a preview non-conference away game; first home game set for Sept. 19.

The T.C. Williams Titans varsity football team kicks off their first game of the fall season next Friday, Sept. 4. The team will be under the guiding hand of new head coach Marc Matthie, who spent eight seasons as a defensive and offensive coordinator at Fairfax and Centreville, The Washington Post reported earlier this year.
Centreville is home of the 2013 Virginia High School League 6A state champions 2011, 2013 and 2014 Northern Region Division 6 Champions and 2013 Concorde Conference Champions.
Matthie replaces Dennis Randolph, who helmed the team the past eight seasons.

“I’ve always been intrigued by the city of Alexandria and the one school, one town type of deal,” Matthie told The Post. “I’m just thinking of drawing back to the good old days at T.C. and using the formula they used of discipline and a family-like atmosphere.”
Here’s a look at the Titans varsity football schedule (dates in bold are home games).
