Get out tonight for First Thursday in Del Ray and get ready to rock with ROAM Rock Of Ages Music Company.

This month’s theme: “Music and Dance on the Avenue!”

ROAM Rock of Ages Music Company is one of more then 14 bands and musical performers and other activities taking place on the Avenue, with a free trolley available to take you up and down the Avenue.

If you’re coming, you’re asked to please bring any musical instruments you have lying around the house. These will go to local boys and girls who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford them. Trumpets, flutes, clarinets, recorders, drums, etc. are all welcome instruments.

First Thursdays is a series of free outdoor street festivals along Mount Vernon Avenue in the spring and summer. Every first Thursday of the months of April, May, June, July, August and September, the Del Ray Business Association features businesses along Mt. Vernon Avenue, special events, food and music from 6-9 p.m.

Each month has a different theme with activities for children, live music, and a festive atmosphere.
