2020 Decorated Halloween Houses To Visit Around NoVA
Want to take a drive to the spookiest houses decorated for Halloween? We have a few suggestions.

VIRGINIA — 'Tis the season to get spooked and scared — and some houses go all out to do so in Northern Virginia.
We asked readers to submit photos of the best decorated Halloween homes in their neighborhoods. Below are some of our favorites.
Know of another cool Halloween house? Shoot us an email at virginia@patch.com if your yard is worth a drive-by this Halloween. Be sure to include a photo and location and we'll add it to our guide. We'll keep adding to the 2020 tour of scary yards leading up to Halloween.

Herndon
The Beastro at Queens Row has been hard at work adding decorations in 2020. They've added a bar this year, The Canteen-19 (C-19). Residents are invited to visit and meet their celebrity guest bartender and are encouraged to wear masks and socially distance. The Beastro is doing its best to encourage voting as well as, mourning some things we missed this year like parties, live music and Herndon Fest.

Here's a scary display on Rock Ridge Court in Herndon, featuring a graveyard, playground and wedding.

Elsewhere in Herndon, there's a scary Halloween display at 2508 Halterbreak Court.
Display decorator Mary Mireles tells Patch that on Halloween night, she will put out whimsical dancing and singing skeletons, including Freddy Mercury and Brian May singing “Another One Bites the Dust.” Lots of kids stop to dance with the skeletons.
The Mireles family plans on safe trick-or-treating at their home, with a one-way entrance in and out of the yard. No doorbell ringing. Will be on stoop. Many neighbors on “haunted” Halterbreak have decorated and are passing out candy from their driveways.
