2020 Sunset Cinema To Run By Reservation In Falls Church
The city will host a socially-distanced movie series with limited attendance.
FALLS CHURCH, VA — The City of Falls Church will bring back the fall tradition of Sunset Cinema movies with a few changes on Sept, 18 and 25 and Oct. 2. Instead of allowing anyone to drop in for the outdoor movies, there will be a cap on attendance and social distancing.
The series will take place at Cherry Hill Park. Each movie will be limited to 20 households with social distancing spots marked off on the lawn. Residents can bring their own snacks, blankets and seats. Attendees are asked to have masks.
The movies are free, but families must preregister. City of Falls Church residents can register starting on Monday, Aug. 24 and non-city residents can register starting on Monday, Aug. 31. There will be a limit of one movie date per household.
