Block Of Broad Street To Be Closed On Saturday In Falls Church
There will be a detour for drivers to navigate past the closed road.
FALLS CHURCH, VA — A portion of West Broad Street will be closed on Saturday in both directions.
According to a city news release, the 600 block (between Lee Street and Pennsylvania Avenue) will be closed in both directions from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 24. Nearby parts of West Broad Street will be reduced to one lane. The recommended detour route is North Lee Street, Park Avenue, and Pennsylvania Avenue.
The road closure is attributed to crane work for a building in the 600 block. Police will be present to direct traffic.
