Citizens Advisory Committee on Transportation Releases Walkability Survey

Participants can choose a block of the road along Broad St. or Washington St. and indicate pros and cons for pedestrians.

How walkable is the City of Falls Church? The Citizens Advisory Committee on Transportation (CACT) has released a Walkability Survey to find out. Participants can simply choose a block and a side of the road along Broad Street or Washington Street, and then check boxes indicating the positives and negatives for pedestrians. This information will be used to make recommendations to City Council for pedestrian improvements along the City’s commercial corridors.

Paper copies of the survey are available at City Hall, the Library and the Community Center, and the electronic version is available online. Responses are due November 18, 2016.
