Join the City of Falls Church Recreation and Parks Department for the Declaration Celebration, an Independence Day themed, one-day Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, July 4!

Using the map provided (PDF), find thirteen Historical Markers throughout the City. A sign featuring one of the thirteen colonies will be placed nearby each Historical Marker. Match all the colonies with their historic site on the Scavenger Hunt Form (PDF), and win a free Declaration Celebration t-shirt (while learning about The Little City's history!)
This is a single-day Scavenger Hunt (on Sunday, July 4 only) that you can complete at your own pace between 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Turn in your completed Scavenger Hunt form in Cherry Hill Park or the Community Center (or email them to events@fallschurchva.gov) before 6:30 p.m. on July 4 to get your free t-shirt. Afterward, enjoy free live music in Cherry Hill Park by Sudden M Pac Band from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
