Fall Festival Features Taste Of Falls Church, Beer Garden, More

Sample 16 Falls Church restaurants, enjoy rides and more at this year's fall festival.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—Fall officially starts on Sept. 22, but we start the season a week early in Falls Church. The annual Fall Festival and Taste of Falls Church is set for Saturday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Community Center parking lot, 223 Little Falls Street, and Cherry Hill Park, 312 Park Avenue.

The event features live entertainment, pony rides, children's amusements, crafters, businesses and civic organizations, a beer garden and of course delicious tastes from local restaurants. Admission is free, but rides, tastes and beer require tickets.

Beer tickets are $6 each. The beer garden will be held 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with selections from Mad Fox Brewing Company and Audacious Ales, and tastings from Falls Church Distillers. Taste tickets are $3 each or 10 for $25.

  • Louis the Magician (10 a.m.): He's Washington's #1 children's magician, and he's back by popular demand! Louis wowed our Memorial Day Festival audience, and he'll wow your kids with new and exciting tricks. He's sure to keep the whole family amazed and laughing!
  • Hayley Fahey Band (11 a.m.): Fahey is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter with a soulful, sweet, powerful voice. She has a presence onstage that lights up a room, drawing influence from country, blues and folk.
  • 19th Street Band (12:15 p.m.): Characterized by high energy and strong vocal harmonies, The 19th Street Band brings to the house a fusion of Americana, country and rock.
  • Zakke (1:30 p.m.): Blending the Latin rhythms with a blast of Funk, Ska, Disco and Rock beats, Zakke is more than just a band, it’s a PARTY!
  • Sudden M Pac Band (2:45 p.m.): This all R&B and Soul band will get you moving and shouting, "Ooooooh, that's my song!"
