Falls Church Craft Show 2019 To Offer Nearly 50 Vendors

Along with the craft show, families can check out Lunch with Santa, Children's Holiday Shoppe and more.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — The time to find unique Christmas gifts in the Little City is returning this weekend. The annual Holiday Craft Show returns to the Falls Church Community Center on Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8.

Nearly 50 vendors will sell unique handmade items, baked goods and other items. The admission fee is $1 for a weekend pass. Local musicians will provide free entertainment on both days, and there will be a children's activity station from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on both days.

Craft show hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday. See a list of vendors confirmed for the event. Sponsors include Falls Church Modern Dentistry, Kitchen Saver and Leaf Filter of Northern Virginia.

Two other children's events at the Community Center will require separate tickets. The Lunch with Santa on Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. and noon includes a macaroni and cheese lunch from Joe's Crab Shack and photos with Santa. The event is for children ages 2 to 12, and families should bring their own cameras for photos. Tickets are $9 per child and are available online.

The other ticketed event is Louis the Magician's show at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 7. The award-winning show features magic, silly comedy and interactive fun. Tickets are $6 per child ages 2 to 12 and are available online.

Other holiday events will be held near the craft show. The Children’s Holiday Shoppe at Cherry Hill Farmhouse allows children select gifts for friends and family priced at $6 and under on Dec. 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Volunteers help kids pick gifts, and free gift wrapping is provided. Registration is not required. In addition, the Holiday Farmers Market on City Hall grounds kicks off on Dec. 7 and continues on Saturdays through Dec. 21. The regular farmers market expands to offer crafts, gifts, trees, wreaths and more.
