Grace Christian Academy Hosts First Annual Benefit Gala

The event will benefit the school's tuition assistance program which helps children from low-income families obtain a quality education.

From Grace Christian Academy: Grace Christian Academy will host its 1st Annual Gala on Thursday, June 8th at 6:00 PM at the Fairview Park Marriott. The event will benefit the school’s tuition assistance program which helps children from low-income families obtain a quality education in a Christian setting.

Formerly Grace Lutheran School, Grace Christian Academy serves an extremely diverse student body comprised of over 50% minorities, children of active-duty military and a large percentage of families that live at or near the poverty line. “We do not want to turn away any family that wants a Christian education for their children due to financial constraints,” said Patrick Hurley, Principal Grace Christian Academy. “We have been blessed with financial assistance from our community which helps support that mission.”

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception in the ballroom foyer where guests will have a chance to mingle and bid in the silent auction. The cocktail reception will be followed by the invocation by Pastor Kevin Wattles, a sit-down dinner, performances by the Grace Christian Academy scholars, a presentation by principal Patrick Hurley, a live auction, and a keynote address by Pastor Mark Jeske, Senior Pastor at St. Marcus Church, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Motivational speaker Michael Botts of the Michael Botts Experience will be the emcee for the evening. Michael’s four children attended Grace Christian Academy and he is a passionate advocate for the school.

Pastor Mark Jeske of St. Marcus Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be the keynote speaker. Pastor Jeske’s weekly television program Time of Grace is seen by over 700,000 viewers on over 125 television stations and cable networks. He is the author of several books and numerous devotionals. His congregation’s elementary school has been nationally recognized for academic excellence and Christ-centered education.
