High School Essay Contest: What the 1st Amendment Means to Me

Fairfax and Prince William county high school students eligible for $1,000 scholarship.

The Republican Women of Clifton (RWC) will award a $1,000 scholarship to one college bound high school senior who best expresses his or her own viewpoint on "What the First Amendment Means to Me." Applications are due April 21, 2016 and requirements can be found at www.cliftongop.com.

The Republican Women of Clifton offers this scholarship annually to a graduating High School senior from Fairfax or Prince William county.

The committee will be looking for applicants demonstrating service to the community, volunteer or community activities, leadership, and strong academic performance.

The second place finisher will receive a $500 gift card and the third place finisher, $100.
