How Falls Church Precincts Voted In The 2020 Democratic Primary
Unofficial results show Elizabeth Warren had a higher percentage of the vote than Bernie Sanders in the City of Falls Church.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — After the polls closed on Super Tuesday, several news outlets immediately called the Virginia Democratic primary for former Vice President Joe Biden. With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Biden captured 53.3 percent of the vote, well ahead of the 23.1 percent for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, 10.7 percent for Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and 9.6 percent for former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Biden also performed well among voters in Falls Church. In all, Biden secured 48.1 percent of the vote in the City of Falls Church, followed by 18.5 percent for Warren, 18 percent for Sanders and 10.7 percent for Bloomberg. Bloomberg dropped out of the race on Wednesday.
Falls Church's general registrar Dave Bjerke tweeted that the city's unofficial turnout was 48.2 percent. There was a 43.8 percent turnout in the 2016 Democratic presidential primary.

Below we take a look at specific results for Falls Church's three precincts and absentee voters. Percentages are included for the top four Democratic candidates — Sanders, Biden, Warren and Bloomberg. Biden led in all precincts except the central absentee precinct. Warren led absentee voters with 22 percent, while Biden had 17.9 percent, Bloomberg had 15.4 percent and Sanders had 15.2 percent.
