JUN 5: Volunteers Needed for "Falls Church Feeds the World" Event
Hands-on Meal Making Activity Enables Young Kids to Participate Too

Volunteers are needed for the June 5th family-friendly “Falls Church Feeds the World” event to help create 20,000 healthy meals that will be packed and then shipped around the world. Adults and children as young as 4 from throughout the community can participate in the meal packaging volunteer event.
The volunteer event is hosted by Christ Crossman United Methodist Church in partnership with Stop Hunger Now, a nonprofit that distributes meals through feeding programs in developing countries to promote education, improve students’ health and nutrition, stimulate economic growth, and more.
The event is open to all. Christ Crossman is committed to providing acts of justice, compassion and real service to each other and to the world. Hunger is a serious issue and this volunteer event engages the community in a meaningful educational event to help end hunger. Through volunteer efforts like “Falls Church Feeds the World,” Christ Crossman is enabling the greater Falls Church community to participate in making a difference for the global community.
