Kids Take A Tumble, Falls Church Crossing Guard Steps In: Video

FALLS CHURCH, VA — A video captured outside Cherry Hill Park in Falls Church Thursday shows the patience and importance of crossing guards.

Fox5's Angie Goff posted the video, which shows young children crossing the street while holding a walking rope. When one of the kids fell, it had a domino effect on the surrounding kids.

Lucky for them, the crossing guard quickly helped the kids back up and across the street. Once the kids were up and moving, the crossing guard retrieved a shoe that one kid left behind. All of that happened within 20 seconds while traffic was stopped.
