New Taco Restaurant Opens in Falls Church

Former BLT Steak Chef Victor Albisu brings Taco Bamba to Northern Virginia.

Taco Bamba (2190 Pimmit Dr.), a new restaurant in Falls Church, opened its doors Monday.

Founded by Chef Victor Albisu, the restaurant will showcase shrimp and sweetbread tacos with salsa verde and a "BLT" fish taco with bacon, lime and tomatillos, according to a story in the Washington Business Journal.

According to the WBJ, Albisu recently opened Del Campo in D.C.

Taco Bamba will open daily for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and remain open for lunch and dinner, according to the WBJ.

Prices for traditional tacos range from 1 taco for $3 to 4 tacos for $9. Specialty tacos, like the duck confit taco and a taco made with foie gras, are a little more expensive. The menu also includes soups, salads, tamales, quesadillas and more.
