New Taco Rock Coming To West Broad Street In Falls Church
The Falls Church restaurant will be the third Taco Rock — along with locations in Rosslyn and Alexandria — and the largest of the three.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — A new Taco Rock restaurant will be opening on West Broad Street in Falls Church in October. The restaurant will be the third Taco Rock — along with locations in Rosslyn and Alexandria — and the largest of the three.
Taco Rock-Falls Church will be located at 1116 West Broad Street in the Birch & Broad shopping center, which is currently under renovation. The former retail space will be transformed into a 2,815-square-foot fast casual taqueria and tequila bar.
The restaurant, owned by Team Cordero, has signed a long-term lease agreement with landlord Federal Realty to occupy the space. Carlos Construction LLC will conduct the buildout. Team Cordero was represented by Chris Saa from Divaris Real Estate Inc.

“Team Cordero is excited to expand Taco Rock’s footprint in Northern Virginia with the opening of our largest and third location,” Northern Virginia restaurateur and chef Mike Cordero said in a statement Tuesday. “The newly renovated Birch & Broad shopping plaza makes a perfect fit for our establishment, and we anticipate the Falls Church community will welcome our concept.”
Team Cordero is a family business group that consists of Mike Cordero, sons Nick Cordero and Anthony Cordero and Chef Stefano Marzano of MightyMeals. Taco Rock-Falls Church, Mike Cordero’s 10th Northern Virginia restaurant location, will seat 85 guests with 25 dining tables and 35 barstools centered around a 25-foot tequila bar.

The restaurant will have an outdoor patio that seats 100 guests and will feature heat lamps and large garage door front windows.

In January, Team Cordero opened Taco Rock-Alexandria in the Pinecrest Plaza shopping center and opened Taco Rock-Rosslyn in November 2019.
Taco Rock-Fall Church’s menu will match its Arlington and Alexandria restaurants, featuring gourmet tacos served on homemade Blue Rock Tortillas, an original recipe featuring blue corn tortillas. Taco Rock offers an extensive tequila bar, with specialty tequila cocktails and imported Mexican beers.
Dessert items include crispy stuffed churros, with an assortment of cream fillings and gourmet ice cream tacos made to order. Taco Rock-themed events include happy hours seven days a week and Taco Tuesdays.
The main focal point inside the restaurant will be Taco Rock’s giant guitar jutting out from the ceiling and spanning the length of the entire restaurant, which is also featured in the Alexandria and Rosslyn restaurants.
