Petco Closing At West Falls Church Shopping Center

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Petco, a pet supply chain, will close its location at the Shops at West Falls Church on Jan. 23.

The store announced the permanent closure through a sign on the window. The entire store has discounts of 10 percent to 80 percent up to the closing.

Customers are encouraged to visit other nearby locations at 5825 Leesburg Pike in Bailey's Crossroads and 7434 Little River Turnpike in Annandale. Petco has numerous locations in Northern Virginia, as well as Unleashed by Petco stores.

Another pet supply chain, Pet Valu, announced last year it would wind down operations in the U.S. and close U.S. locations. The chain had a location at Graham Park Plaza, 7249 Arlington Boulevard, in Falls Church.
