Plaka Grill Is Relocating In Falls Church

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Plaka Grill, a locally-owned Greek restaurant will be moving to a new location in Falls Church. It will leave its location at 513 West Broad Street in November and reopen at Falls Plaza Shopping Center, 1216 West Broad Street, Falls Church.

More customer parking and kitchen space were factors in the decision to move. The 3,589-square-foot space at Falls Plaza will allow Plaka Grill to expand catering offerings.

"We chose to move to Falls Plaza for a number of reasons," said Peter Drosos, Plaka Grill's chef and owner. "We’re thrilled to move to a location with abundant parking to better serve our customers. Falls Plaza is ideally situated, and we’re excited for the opportunity to be more accessible to our guests whether they’re choosing to dine in with us or get carry-out, delivery or catering."

Plaka Grill first opened in Vienna in 2007, followed by its second location in Falls Church in 2015. Drosos, a 2001 Madison High School graduate, attended culinary school in Athens, Greece and later returned to Greece, working at several restaurants and learning how to make gyro and souvlaki by hand.

The relocated Plaka Grill will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week with dine-in, carry-out, catering and delivery services.
