Providence Players Brings Newest Show To A Parking Lot Near You
The latest production by the Providence Players concerns a play within a play set and performed in a Falls Church parking lot.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — For the second year in a row, Providence Players is bringing its mix of musical talent and theatrical performance outdoors. This time, though, the show will take place in the parking lot behind a Falls Church restaurant.
Providence Players has teamed up with the Tinner Hill Foundation and The Italian Café to present performances of the aptly named "The Parking Lot," which written by Adam Syzmkowicz.
In what can only be described as a very meta production, "The Parking Lot" concerns Beth Gilles-Whitehead and David P. Whitehead, a real-life married couple, who are performing as a married couple deciding whether they should get divorced. Their characters are debating this life-changing decision as they perform in a play set in a parking lot. The play within a play is directed by another real-life married couple, Jayne L. Victor and Michael Donahue, who are the actual directors of Providence Players' "The Parking Lot."
