Roads Closed Due To Downed Trees In Falls Church

BREAKING: Downed trees have closed roads around Falls Church.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—A thunderstorm swept through the region quickly, but it left behind quite a bit of damage.

The City of Falls Church is reporting numerous road closures due to downed trees. If you see a downed tree or power line in a road, call the police non-emergency number at 703-248-5053. Do not touch or approach downed power lines.

These closures are in effect as of 4:30 p.m.

  • Rosemary Lane
  • 200 block of North Virginia Avenue and Riley Street
  • Berry Street
  • 900 block of Park Avenue
  • 1000 block of Parker and Patterson Streets

If you see a traffic light without power, treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
