Sunset Cinema Movie Series Returns In Falls Church
Cherry Hill Park will host the outdoor movie series, including Viewers' Choice film.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—Even as summer ends, the outdoor fun won't. The Sunset Cinema series in Falls Church returns on four upcoming Fridays. The family-friendly movies will be shown on Sept. 7, 21, 28, and Oct. 5 at 7:45 p.m. in Cherry Hill Park, 312 Park Avenue.
Attendees may bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnics to the park. Snacks and beverages will also be available for purchase. In the event of inclement weather, the movies will take place at the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls Street.

- Sept. 7: Coco (2017, PG): Despite his family's generations-old ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead.
- Sept. 21: Wonder (2017, PG): The story of a boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time.
- Sept. 28: Despicable Me 3 (2017, PG): The mischievous Minions hope that Gru will return to a life of crime after the new boss of the Anti-Villain League fires him. Instead, Gru decides to remain retired and travel to Freedonia to meet his long-lost twin brother for the first time.
- Oct. 5: Viewers' Choice: The community can vote online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SunsetCinema2018 for one of three recent box office hits at the Oct. 5 Sunset Cinema. The online poll will close on Sept. 1. The choices are Star Wars: The Last Jedi (PG-13, 2017), Black Panther (PG-13, 2018), and Jumanji (PG-13, 2017).
