Tesla Superchargers Come To Falls Church Area
Falls Church has joined other places in the region with Tesla Supercharger Stations.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — The Falls Church area has joined neighboring Tysons and Arlington in offering Tesla Superchargers. The new Supercharger Station is at the Idylwood Plaza at 7501 Leesburg Pike.
Shopping center owner Federal Realty Investment Trust says Idylwood Plaza is the first location in Federal’s Northern Virginia portfolio and fourth in its national portfolio to offer charging stations for Tesla vehicles. The Supercharger Station at Idylwood Plaza has eight Tesla Superchargers. Drivers can charge their vehicles while visiting businesses at the shopping center such as the newly-owned Island Fin Poke, Whole Foods, Bassett Furniture, Starbucks, MyEyeDr., Orangetheory Fitness, Capital One Bank and Elegance Nail Salon. With close proximity to the Capital Beltway and Interstate 66, it's also a convenient location for commuters.
According to Tesla's map of Supercharger locations, this is the first location in the Falls Church area. Tysons, Arlington County, Alexandria and DC have Supercharger stations, destination charging stations or a mix of the two. Vienna got its first charging location at a Wawa store with Tesla chargers instead of the traditional gas station.
