Two Face Assault Charges After Argument with Victim at West Falls Church Restaurant: Police

Fairfax County Police say that two men followed victim outside and assaulted him, after argument that started inside a restaurant.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police say that two men are facing assault charges after an incident outside a West Falls Church restaurant in the early hours Friday.

Police were called at about 2:35 a.m. to a restaurant in the 7200 block of Arlington Boulevard (see map below), where they arrested two men for assaulting a 44-year old man.

An investigation determined the victim got into an argument with a group of people inside a restaurant, police said. To avoid further conflict, the victim walked out, according to police.

At least two people from the group followed him and assaulted him, police said.

Gueri Parra Meruvia, 36, of Falls Church, and Briann Camacho Nogales, 35, of Springfield, were arrested at the scene, taken to the adult detention center and each charged with malicious wounding and assault by mob, according to police. The victim was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
