UPDATE: Pedestrians Robbed at Knifepoint in Culmore Area

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- (UPDATE Tuesday 2 p.m.) -- Fairfax County Police say that three pedestrians, in three separate incidents, were robbed at knifepoint by two suspects late Saturday night in the Bailey's Crossroads' Culmore neighborhood.

The armed robberies took place around 11 p.m. Saturday in the area of Glen Carlyn and Vista Drive, near the 3300 block of Glen Carlyn Drive, police said. Within minutes, the pedestrians, two men and a woman, each were approached by two men who displayed a knife and demanded a wallet and a phone, police said. The victims realized they had all been robbed by the same suspects and called police.

The suspects, who ran off on foot, were described as Hispanic, around 35 to 40 years old, and wearing dark clothing. None of the victims required medical attention.
