Virginia Soccer: Mason Boys, Girls Advance to State Championship Game

The George Mason High School boys and girl’s soccer teams have advanced to the Virginia High School League state championship games after wins Saturday.
The girls, who could become the first team to win six consecutive championships in Virginia high school soccer, defeated Radford High School 2-1 in the VHSL semifinals.
Mason boys blanked Galax High School 4-0 in their semifinal matchup.

The boys will play at Radford University Sunday at 10 a.m. and the Lady Mustangs will play at noon.
