Virginia Softball: Mason Looking to Take Down William Monroe
Mason hasn't beaten their Bull Run District foe in two regular season meetings.
The George Mason High School (9-10) varsity softball team has not beaten William Monroe High School (10-3) in two meetings this season.
The Mustangs will have one more chance for a win against Monroe Monday night when the two schools square off in the Bull Run District Softball Quarterfinals.
“We were right in it in our first two meetings,” said first year varsity softball Coach Brian Fowler. Monroe beat Mason 8-5 in April and 5-3 earlier this month.

The two schools will play at Monroe with a 7 p.m. start.
