Bargain Loft Thrift Store Reopens After Closing For Coronavirus
Herndon-Reston FISH, Inc.'s Bargain Loft Thrift Store reopened its doors Tuesday morning, after closing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
HERNDON, VA — A fixture of the Herndon-Reston community was back in business Tuesday morning. Bargain Loft Thrift Store, which is located at 336 Victory Drive in the Reston-Herndon Business Park, reopened its doors after being temporarily closed in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Operated by Herndon-Reston FISH, Inc., the two-story Bargain Loft offers household items, furniture, collectibles, women's clothing, toys, and other precious items at reasonable prices.
“We are delighted to reopen our store and look forward to serving our customers again,” said Mary Jo Baedecker, chair of the Bargain Loft Committee and a member of the FISH Board of Directors, and Barbara Williams, manager of The Bargain Loft, in a release.

In the interest of keeping its employees and customers safe, store management has instituted a number of precautions, including requiring everyone to wear a mask and to practice social distancing while shopping. Hand sanitizer will also provided, and staff will be cleaning surfaces frequently. Only 10 shoppers will be allowed in the store at a time and customers must have their temperatures taken when they enter the store.
Customers can begin dropping off donations on Wednesday at the store's back door. All donations will be quarantined for two to three days before they're placed on the sales floor.

Bargain Loft Thrift Store will be open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m-3 p.m.
