'Dress Up Herndon for the Holidays' Contest Winners Named
Five of Herndon's most festive homes were honored by the town's Cultivating Community Initiative Monday.
We have a winner!
The results of the town’s annual “Dress Up Herndon for the Holidays” decoration contest are in.
Judges from the town’s Cultivating Community Initiative (CCI) drove through Herndon’s neighborhoods Monday evening to choose the five contest winners. All five winners were presented with a festive sign and will be formally recognized by the Mayor and Herndon Town Council at the Jan. 13 public hearing.
“This contest is a fabulous way to build community and to celebrate the season in Herndon,” said Mayor Lisa Merkel. “I encourage everyone to pile the kids, family and friends in the car and ride around town to see these wonderfully decorated homes and neighborhoods.”
