Drunk Herndon Man Sexually Assaults Child: Police Charge

HERNDON, VA — A Herndon man faces charges for drunkenness and sexual battery after he sexually assaulted a child, police say.

The juvenile victim reported to police that a man who he did not know approached him in the 500 block of Pembrook Court on Sept. 23 and then touched him in the genital area, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

Police arrested 46-year-old Jose Luis Hernandez. He is being held without bond.
