Griffin Owens Supports Nonprofi Fundraiser

Assistance League of Northern Virginia is pleased to recognize Griffin Owens Insurance Group as a “Bronze Star” Sponsor for its Annual Fundraiser. The nonprofit organization is grateful to Griffin Owens for its support that will help to raise awareness for its 2020-21 Operation School Bell® programs that feed, clothe and educate thousands of vulnerable children in Northern Virginia each year.

Griffin Owens Insurance Group was established in 1981 by Chris Griffin and Don Owens, who partnered to assist their local community with their personal and business insurance needs. Today, the firm represents over 100 regional and national insurance carriers. Griffin Owens' success was built on the guiding philosophy of helping individuals and businesses in the communities where they work and live. The firm has a long history of supporting causes and organizations that are important to its employees, through volunteer work and financial donations. Assistance League is grateful to be one of the many charities to benefit from Griffin Owens’ outreach in our community.

The Assistance League's annual luncheon was originally scheduled for later this month but due to the novel coronavirus, the event has been rescheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2020, at International Country Club, in Fairfax.
