James Arthur Radmore

Mr. James Arthur Radmore, 57, formerly of Titusville, PA, passed away October 11, 2014 at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Chantilly, VA after a courageous 14 year battle with cancer.

Jim was born in Titusville, PA on May 16, 1957 to the late Jack and Dorothy Radmore Condon and was adopted and raised by Ken and Mary Cornmesser Radmore. A 1975 graduate of Titusville High School, he served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged from active duty in 1979 and retired from the Reserves in 1995 with the rank of E5.

Jim graduated from Ashland University in 1983 with a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting and earned a masters degree from Johns Hopkins University. After moving to Virginia in 1986, he was an active volunteer with Big Brothers, Relay for Life, and the Fairfax County Police Department.

Jim is survived by his daughter Gabrielle, his brothers Richard Radmore and wife Joyce of Titusville, Michael Radmore and wife Wanda of Jacksonville, FL, and a sister Rita Cucuzza and husband Richard of Beeville, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ken Radmore Junior and wife Becky, and his sister Patricia Berry.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home in Fairfax, VA with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Veronica’s Catholic Church in Chantilly, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jim’s memory to Relay for Life, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, or the charity of one’s choice.
