Town of Herndon Adopts FY 2014 Annual Report

The Town of Herndon FY 2014 Annual Report highlights the events, programs and projects undertaken from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014.

Herndon Town Council adopted the Town Manager’s Annual Report for fiscal year 2014 at its meeting Tuesday evening. The report outlines the events, programs and projects undertaken throughout the fiscal year, which began July 1, 2013 and ended June 30, 2014.

“Fiscally, the town completed a very successful year with a net increase in revenues, based upon stronger-than-expected collections of business and professional license (BPOL) taxes and controlled operating expenditures. This resulted in a year-end unassigned fund balance that is at its highest level in more than a decade, providing resources for future capital projects,” said Town Manager Art Anselene in an executive summary of the report.
