The weekend of April 28-29 is packed with events in and around Kingstowne-Rose Hill. Whether you want to get some shopping done, have fun with your pet or attend a performance, there's something for you this weekend.
1. Hayfield Farm Neighborhood Yard Sale - Saturday, April 28, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Residents will hold yard sales in front of their homes and at Hayfield Park. Hayfield Farm, a neighborhood of over 650 homes located off of Telegraph Road in the Kingstowne area.

2. Edison High School's "Cinderella" - April 27, 28, May 3, 5 at 7 p.m. and April 28, May 5 at 2 p.m.
With a delightful score by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, Cinderella is ready to enchant audiences of all ages once again - the ultimate musical fairy tale.
3. Spaghetti Dinner and Talent Show at St. Mark's Episcopal Church - Saturday, April 28, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

The Spaghetti Dinner & Talent Show will raise money for the church's Mission Youth Group Team trip to Charleston, SC in June.
4. Northern Alexandria Native Plant Sale - Saturday, April 28, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A dozen or more vendors from three states (VA, MD, and PA) will be hosted at this twice-a-year event—now in its 15th year. It is the largest native plant sale in the Washington DC area.

Please come walk with us on Saturday, April 28th at Fort Ward Park to benefit Project Discovery of Alexandria, an organization that helps students who are the first in their families to attend college/university.
7. Alexandria Love Your Pet Day Block Party - Sunday, April 29, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Roth and Colvin Streets, Alexandria
Over 60 vendors and hundreds of pet owners and their furry friends are expected to attend this second annual block party. There will be food trucks, children's entertainment, interactive demonstrations and more.
