The rallies come as the latest polling shows Sanders and Mike Bloomberg tied among likely Virginia voters. The Monmouth University poll, conducted Feb. 13 to 16 with 400 Virginia voters, showed 22 percent for Sanders, 22 percent for Bloomberg, 18 percent for Joe Biden, 11 percent for Pete Buttigieg, 9 percent for Amy Klobuchar and 5 percent for Elizabeth Warren.
In a hypothetical two-person race between Sanders and other Democratic candidates, Sanders edges past both Klobuchar (45 percent to 42 percent) and Buttigieg (44 percent to 42 percent). He comes out on the losing side against Bloomberg (41 percent to 47 percent) and Biden (38 percent to 51 percent).
