Carnival Coming To Springfield Town Center In May
Families can enjoy games, rides and fair food with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
SPRINGFIELD, VA — The carnival is coming to town at Springfield Town Center in May.
From May 6 to 16, Springfield Town Center's carnival will offer rides, games and fair food. The location is the parking lot near JC Penney, 6500 Springfield Mall, Springfield.
Powers Great American Midway will host the carnival along with sponsor Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce. There is no admission cost, but tickets for rides and games will be available at the event. A $25 wristband can be purchased for unlimited rides. Anyone who shows a mall receipt dated between May 6 and 16 will receive $3 off the wristband price.

COVID-19 guidelines will be in place, including a face mask requirement, social distancing markers, sanitizer station, occupancy limits, and cleaning of rides, games and food concessions.

- Sunday, May 9: 2 p.m.–10 p.m.
- Monday, May 10: 5:30 p.m.–10 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 11: 5:30 p.m.–10 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 12: 5:30 p.m.–10 p.m.
