Community Meeting

Residents of Manchester Lakes Master Association,

We are planning a community-wide meeting on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 7:00p.m. in the Clubhouse to address concerns about the proposed White Horse Car Wash at Festival at Manchester Lakes Shopping Center. Please note that the date and time are subject to change.

As you all know, on October 2, 2017, the Lee District Land Use Advisory Committee, despite overwhelming community opposition, voted 14 "Yes" against 6 "No" to allow the proposed car wash to be discussed and voted on at the Fairfax County Planning Commission public hearing.

As of December 1, 2017, there is a proposed Planning Commission public hearing about the White Horse Car Wash that will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. Please note that the date and time are subject to change. Planning Commission meetings are held in the Board Auditorium of the Government Center at 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035.

Please be on the lookout for the yellow signs posted at the site of the proposed carwash confirming the public hearing date. To learn more information about the process of the Planning Commission public hearing, receive information and address your concerns, please plan to attend the January 31, 2018 community-wide information meeting.
