We're beginning to see some holiday shopping events and attractions pop up in mid-November. There's plenty to do this weekend in Northern Virginia and DC, from craft fairs to ice skating rinks and tree lightings.

We've rounded up numerous events going on from Friday, Nov. 15, to Sunday, Nov. 17. Some are free, while others have fees.

The larger events include Winter Village at Cameron Run Regional Park opening, Bye Bye, Bei Bei events at National Zoo, Tysons Corner Center Tree Lighting, DC Beerathon, Fairfax City Holiday Craft Show, Metro Cooking DC show and Holiday Fireworks Spectacular at Virginia Gateway.
