Fairfax County Schools Make Weather Adjustments For Feb. 19
Due to inclement weather, FCPS buildings are closed but virtual learning will continue.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — As inclement weather conditions linger, Fairfax County Public Schools will hold virtual learning but close buildings on Friday.
A winter weather advisory remains in effect through 6 a.m. Friday. The school district's operating decision follows the closing of school buildings and suspension of virtual learning on Thursday. On Friday, students will have synchronous (teacher-led) instruction.
School work spaces for instruction will not be available for instruction. Teachers, instructional assistants, and other staff employed for less than 12 months should work from home. School office and central office staff who can work from home should do so or follow supervisor's directions for in-person work. For staff who have vaccination appointments, check their emails and the Inova website for updates.
