Franconia Deli Burglarized: Police

Cash was stolen, security cameras and cash registers were destroyed at a local business in Franconia.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police said Tuesday that a Franconia deli was burglarized over the weekend. Police were called Monday morning at 5:40 a.m. to Sophia Deli, located at 6354 Walker Lane (see map below).

An employee reported that someone broke into the business over the weekend and destroyed security cameras and cash registers, police said. The suspect or suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police. The case is under investigation.
