Franconia's Paradiso Restaurant To Close, Reopen As New Concept
The family-run restaurant will turn ownership over to a new generation and transition into a new concept.
FRANCONIA — A longtime family-run restaurant in Franconia will close, but a new generation is planning to reopen it as a new concept.
Paradiso Italian Restaurant's owners announced on their Facebook page the restaurant will close on Sunday, Oct. 11. The restaurant will undergo renovations and reopen in mid-November as La Fiamma, which translates to "The Flame."
The family-run restaurant states on its Facebook page it has been cooking recipes passed down from generations and serving thousands of families and friends. It is also affiliated with Villa Bella Restaurant in Burke and Giardino Italian Restaurant in Springfield. The owners say La Fiamma will remain the same family-owned business as Paradiso with a new generation.
