Homeowners: Enter Home Energy Makeover Contest

The Local Energy Alliance Program is holding a Northern Virginia Home Energy Makeover Contest for local homeowners until Sept. 30. The winners will receive a home energy makeover provided by the Dominion Foundation. 

On Sept. 21, ten finalists will be chosen based on their online entries for a chance to win a makeover worth one of the following amounts: 

• 1st place-$10,000
• 2nd place-$5,000
• 3rd place-$3,000

Six homeowners will also be selected by random drawing for a free home energy assesment that's worth $500. 

To enter, visit novaenergycontest.com and fill out a short survey about your home's energy use.  

The contest is available to all owners of single-family homes, condos and townhouses in Fairfax County, as well as surrounding areas.
