July 4 Light Show Planned At Springfield Town Center
The light show is free and can be viewed from vehicles.
SPRINGFIELD, VA — Is your family looking for an alternative to fireworks this Fourth of July? A free light show is planned at Springfield Town Center, offering a way to celebrate safely amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The event will happen on July 4 from 9 p.m. to approximately 9:45 p.m. in the parking lot off Spring Mall Drive near JCPenney. While awaiting the show, attendees are encouraged to get dinner from restaurants at Springfield Town Center while awaiting the show. The mall's limited Saturday hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. See a list of open businesses at Springfield Town Center here.
Attendees should plan to arrive early to secure a parking spot.

The event is held by eventlightsusa.com with support from Lee District Supervisor Rodney Lusk, the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Springfield Town Center and Christ Church.
