Kingstowne Thanksgiving 2020 Grocery Store Hours: Wegmans, More

KINGSTOWNE, VA — While Thanksgiving Day feasts are likely to be a little smaller this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, that doesn't mean we're less likely to forget the cranberry sauce, the gravy or the whipped topping for the pumpkin pie.

It's a terrible feeling — but, luckily, there's a list of grocery stores that will be open in Kingstowne for those emergency and last-minute shopping trips.

Retail giants Target and Walmart will not be open on Thanksgiving. Both chains made the decision in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement released on its website, Target said the company's goal is to "make the holiday shopping experience simple, safe, and stress-free."

Here are the hours for Kingstowne area grocery stores that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, along with a list of those that won't:

• Costco: 7373 Boston Blvd, Springfield, VA 22153. Hours: closed.
• Target: Springfield Town Center, 6600 Springfield Mall, Springfield, VA 22150. Hours: closed.
• Walmart: 5885 Kingstowne Blvd Alexandria, VA 22315. Hours: closed.
• Lidl: 6801 Commerce St, Springfield, VA 22150. Hours: closed.
