La Fiamma Opens In Franconia, Replacing Paradiso Restaurant

La Fiamma is a family-owned concept offering Italian favorites for dine-in or takeout service.

FRANCONIA, VA — La Fiamma, the restaurant replacing Paradiso Italian Restaurant, is holding a grand opening Tuesday at 6124 Franconia Road, Alexandria.

Paradiso Italian Restaurant was a longtime family-run restaurant that closed in October 2020. The owners announced they were passing the torch to new owners to open the new concept. The new owners are Gonzalo and Melina Pardo, who met in 2003 at Paradiso Italian Restaurant.

The owners, their two boys, Luca and Mateo, and their puppy Gibson are ready to welcome diners to the new family restaurant. La Fiamma's chef is Victor Bercian, who hails from New York, has over 20 years of cooking experience and specializes in Italian food.

The menu includes appetizers, soups, salads, grilled entrees, fish entrees, chicken and veal entrees, pasta, pizza, desserts, and a kids menu. A separate bar menu is offered, along with cocktails, craft beers and wines. Happy hour is planned daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Hours are 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday. Curbside pickup and delivery through the third-party UberEats are available. Online ordering is coming soon. To place an order, call 703-922-6222. For more information, visit lafiammaitalian.com.
